Key findings

  • Bulk Carrier fell 8.7% to 6,166 calls (28.8%), Container fell 0.1% to 5,340 calls (25.0%), and Tanker (all types) fell 3.1% to 3,750.
  • Port activity is led by Shanghai with 2,351 calls (11.0%), Zhoushan with 1,266 calls (5.9%), and Tianjin with 1,022 calls (4.8%), which together account for 21.7% of national calls.
  • China is the leading origin with 13,870 calls (64.8%) and the leading destination with 13,870 calls (63.8%), with South Korea second in both directions.
