  • Total port calls rose 24.1% month-on-month to 4,144 in August 2026, up from 3,338 in July 2026.
  • The Other (incl. offshore) vessel type category recorded the steepest month-on-month increase, up 111.5% to 571 calls, while Container remained the leading category at 29.4% share.
  • Ho Chi Minh led port activity with 795 calls (19.2% share), closely followed by Hai Phong with 791 calls (19.1%) and Cai Mep with 527 calls (12.7%), together accounting for 51.0% of national port calls.
