  • Türkiye recorded 4,664 port calls in July 2026, down 18.2 percent from 5,700 calls in June 2026.
  • The decline was broad-based across vessel types: ro-ro/vehicle calls fell 53.8 percent to 270 calls and LNG carrier calls fell 66.7 percent to 3 calls, while general cargo, the largest category, eased 1.1 percent to 1,633 calls.
  • Port activity was distributed across multiple ports, led by Istanbul with 536 calls (11.5 percent share), Nemrut with 399 calls (8.6 percent), and Mersin with 305 calls (6.5 percent), together accounting for 26.6 percent of national traffic.
