Key findings

  • Tanker (all types) led with 2,319 calls (31.4%, up 23.5%), Container rose 4.6% to 1,543, and Ro-Ro / Vehicle rose 10.7% to 590.
  • Port activity is led by Busan with 1,254 calls (17.0%), Kwangyang with 1,112 calls (15.1%), and Ulsan with 671 calls (9.1%), which together account for 41.2% of national calls.
  • South Korea is the leading origin with 4,205 calls (57.0%) and the leading destination with 4,205 calls (57.3%), with China second in both directions.
