  • South Korea recorded 7,537 port calls in August 2026, up 10.3% from 6,835 calls in July 2026.
  • Tanker (all types) rose 22.2% to 1,908 calls, remaining the largest vessel type at 25.3% share, while Bulk Carrier declined 8.5% to 592 calls.
  • Busan led all ports with 1,275 calls (16.9% share), followed by Kwangyang with 1,123 calls (14.9% share) and Incheon with 679 calls (9.0% share), together accounting for 40.8% of national port calls.
