  • Norway recorded 6,804 port calls in August 2026, an increase of 33.1% from 5,112 calls in July 2026.
  • Other (incl. offshore) remained the largest vessel type category at 2,703 calls (39.7% share), up 36.6%, and General Cargo rose 42.1% to 1,827 calls (26.9% share).
  • Alesund led all ports with 397 calls (5.8% share), followed by Kristiansund with 358 calls (5.3% share) and Tromso with 311 calls (4.6% share), together accounting for 15.7% of national port calls.
