Key findings

  • Total port calls rose 10.2% month on month to 3,405 in July 2026, up from 3,090 in June 2026.
  • The other and offshore vessel category posted the largest swing, rising 52.2% to 493 calls, while tanker calls rose 12.3% to 852 calls and container calls, the largest category, eased 5.5% to 1,127 calls.
  • Port Klang led all ports with 1,274 calls, a 37.4% share, and the top three ports, Port Klang, Tanjung Pelepas, and Bintulu, together accounted for 54.0% of national traffic.
