  • Malaysia recorded 4,227 port calls in August 2026, an increase of 23.3% from 3,428 calls in July 2026.
  • Other (incl. offshore) calls rose 99.1% to 1,077 calls (25.5% share), and Ro-Ro / Vehicle calls rose 92.1% to 73 calls (1.7% share), while Container remained the largest category at 1,164 calls (27.5% share), up 2.7%.
  • Port Klang led all ports with 1,389 calls (32.9% share), and together with Tanjung Pelepas (364 calls, 8.6% share) and Bintulu (303 calls, 7.2% share), the top three ports accounted for 48.7% of national port calls.
