  • General Cargo rose 45.8% to 2,561 calls (38.8%), Container rose 33.7% to 1,114, and Tanker (all types) rose 34.8% to 817.
  • Port activity is led by Brunsbuttel with 1,481 calls (22.4%), Holtenau with 1,334 calls (20.2%), and Hamburg with 741 calls (11.2%), which together account for 53.9% of national calls.
  • Germany is the leading origin with 3,669 calls (55.6%) and the leading destination with 3,669 calls (55.4%), with the Netherlands second in both directions.
