  • Germany recorded 5,933 port calls in August 2026, up 63.8% from 3,621 calls in July 2026.
  • Brunsbuettel led all ports with 1,105 calls (18.6% share), followed by Holtenau with 841 calls (14.2%) and Hamburg with 542 calls (9.1%), together accounting for 41.9% of national port calls.
  • The Netherlands was the top international trade partner with 909 calls (15.3% share) as an origin and 779 calls (13.4% share) as a destination.
