  • Total port calls in Canada fell 35.2 percent month on month to 2,462 in July 2026, down from 3,800 in June 2026.
  • Ro-Ro / Vehicle traffic posted the steepest decline, falling 78.1 percent to 337 calls, while bulk carrier calls rose 11.8 percent to 561 calls.
  • Montreal led all ports with 296 calls, followed by Vancouver with 271 calls and Port Colborne with 146 calls, together accounting for 28.9 percent of national traffic.
