  • Total port calls in Australia fell 10.6 percent month on month to 2,658 in July 2026, down from 2,973 in June 2026.
  • General cargo calls declined 25.5 percent to 105 calls, while LNG carrier calls rose 15.2 percent to 114 calls.
  • Port Hedland led all ports with 278 calls, followed by Melbourne with 230 calls and Brisbane with 200 calls, together accounting for 26.6 percent of national traffic.
