About

History and Evolution

Since the dawn of the Meiji period, our establishment has been at the forefront of the maritime industry, focusing on the creation and assembly of a diverse fleet, spanning from cargo to chemical vessels. The year 1997 marked a milestone with the introduction and subsequent patenting of the "Era Hull," a design celebrated for its economic benefits. This innovation has since become the cornerstone of our domestic cargo vessels, an area we excel in. As the market's appetite for cost-effective maritime solutions grows, the fleet of "Era" class vessels has expanded to over 100 units, with projections indicating a continued upward trajectory in production.

Infrastructure and Capability Enhancement

In a strategic move during March 2014, we relocated our headquarters along with our manufacturing plant to Oshima, nestled in Yoshimi-cho of Imabari City. This relocation has seen our factory's premises quadruple in size, inclusive of a semi-dry dock, thereby significantly enhancing our production capabilities. With these upgrades, our capacity to construct vessels has surged, enabling us to cater to ships of up to 6,000G/T.

Future Directions

Driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence, our team is dedicated to pioneering the next generation of maritime vessels. Leveraging decades of accumulated expertise, we are focused on integrating novel ideas and technologies to elevate our crafts. We deeply appreciate the ongoing support and guidance from our partners and clientele as we navigate the future of shipbuilding together.
