Expansion into Shipbuilding

Shortly after its establishment, the company expanded its operations by acquiring a shipyard in Marunda, focusing initially on the construction of wooden fishing boats.

Development of Shipyard Facilities

The year 2000 marked a significant milestone for KTU Shipyard with the establishment of its first shipyard facility in Sagulung, Batam, followed by another development in Sekupang, Batam in 2005. Advancing further, in 2019, the company expanded its portfolio by acquiring a new shipyard at Tanjung Riau, Batam, the site formerly known as PT. Britoil Offshore.
