Hull Cleaning

Hull Grooming, & Niche Area Cleaning: With the new regulations being adopted by the IMO in 2023 regarding decarbonization through ship emissions, a trusted underwater service partner who can deliver reliable biofouling removal around the globe will be paramount to ensure your vessel remains in the acceptable range of A,B, or C.
Underwater Propeller Polishing: According to the ICCT, propellor polishing can reduce gas emissions by 2% – 5% and when executed on a regular period basis; 2.5% – 8%. The same can be said for hull cleaning, which can reduce gas emissions in a range of 1%-10%.
Underwater Surveys & Inspections: Marina Atlantic Group provides a full range of inspection services from Class In-Water Surveys to Damage Inspections to Biofouling Inspections to Inland/Coastal Infrastructure Inspections.

Underwater Rudder/Stabilizer Exchanges & Repairs: Marina Atlantic Group has revolutionized the underwater methods of repair of rudders and stabilizers. By using underwater cofferdams (either atmospheric or hyperbaric), fully approved mechanical or weld repairs can be performed to rudders and stabilizers.
Underwater Scrubber/Sea Chest Installations & Repairs: Marina Atlantic Group has developed solutions for ships needing to install scrubber system afloat at lay berths where dry docking is not available, expensive or time consuming.
Underwater Tunnel Thruster Exchanges & Repairs: Bow Thrusters, Stern Thrusters and all other Tunnel Thrusters can be repaired underwater either completely wet or in a dry hyperbaric environment.
Underwater Demountable Thruster Exchanges & Repairs: Marina Atlantic Group is capable of delivering a complete turn key demountable thruster exchange including experienced service technicians for inboard and outboard operations, stand jacks systems, diving systems, and experienced diver/technicians.
Underwater Seal Replacements: Face Type and Lip Type seals can be completely renewed and serviced with Original Equipment Manufacturer approval same as dry dock.
Ship Supply Services
We organize the supply chain of the vessel and its servicing in the port: providing the vessel with fuel (bunkering), food and technical supplies, organization of vessel repairing. To do that on the highest required level, we have preliminarily concluded contracts with suppliers from all above-mentioned fields, which give a possibility to vessel manager to choose from many different suppliers. Food is always fresh and specifically tuned to fit the requirements of long sea cruises, both for passengers, external workers, and crew. Packing of products is done in a way to preserve maximum freshness and provide the long-term usage, even up to several years. As for technical supply, it also can be any: refueling, oil, technical assistance, spare parts, and so on.
Bunker-Waste Disposals
Maritime Bunkering: All vessels bunkering in Lome port and can be assured of the quality and quantity of bunker, as well as safe and efficient delivery. Marina Atlantic Group ensures several standards and codes of practice as adopted by the international best practices. Working with all the major producers of lubricants and state-owned oil companies worldwide enables us to secure products for our clients at very competitive terms. No matter if you are purchasing large quantities in bulk or requiring supply in drums we are able to offer you the best service. The flexibility of our owned barge fleet allows delivery to several vessels on the same day, as well as cruise ships and chemical tankers with limited windows of opportunity to receive fuel. Service is available to customers seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Waste Disposal Services: Marina Atlantic Group marine waste management operation provides safe, professional collection, recovery, recycling, treatment, storage and disposal services of ship’s slop, sludge, bilge and garbage to some of the world’s largest ocean going liners, major shipping companies and ports. Through a strong partnership with Lome Port Authorities, we ensure that the best environmental practices are available to our customers without causing undue delay to shipping. Our purpose-built MARPOL reception and treatment facilities are located at strategic ports in Lome and offer expert technical support to make sure our clients comply with tightening environmental and MARPOL legislation. Services are tailored to the needs of each client. Working to your deadlines – and around limited access issues – we provide dependable, efficient waste collection solutions, 24 hours a day. This is also requirement by MARPOL from each member states. Our marine services includes ; 24 hour emergency response service, dedicated fleet of tankers, motorised barges for waterside and large volume collections, in-house technical support, aqueous and oily waste collection, treatment and disposal, garbage and hazardous waste collection and disposal, bilge and tank cleaning services. Our marine waste treatment systems maximise oil recovery without excessive energy consumption. Waste waters are subjected to a range of biological treatments before discharge.
