OUR HISTORY
Trade Ocean Shipping Services (Pty) Ltd was formed in 2006, as a legal vehicle to buy-out TRT Ships Agency.
Extending the legacy TRT Ships Agency enjoyed a long and credible history as clearing agents, which stretches back to 1968 when the business was established under the banner of TRT Shipping Services (Pty) Ltd. Part of that legacy, was the continuity brought to Trade Ocean by the courageous team of key TRT Ships Agency staff who founded Trade Ocean.
The company continues today with the same legacy of ownership and delivering service excellence through their network of regional offices and trusted partnerships.
