  • The United Arab Emirates recorded 2,751 port calls in July 2026, up 116.3 percent from 1,272 calls in June 2026, an unusually low base month.
  • The rebound was broad-based: the other/offshore category, the largest, rose 235.8 percent to 1,444 calls, ro-ro/vehicle calls rose 170.8 percent to 65 calls, and tanker calls rose 77.7 percent to 542 calls.
  • Port activity was led by Abu Dhabi with 864 calls (31.4 percent share), Dubai with 283 calls (10.3 percent), and Fujairah with 222 calls (8.1 percent), together accounting for 49.8 percent of national traffic.
