  • Egypt recorded 2,598 port calls in August 2026, up 15.4% from 2,251 calls in July 2026.
  • Other (incl. offshore) was the standout mover, rising 160.5% to 336 calls, while Tanker (all types) remained the largest category at 634 calls, a 24.4% share, up 11.0%, and Container declined 2.5% to 544 calls.
  • Port Said led all ports with 935 calls, a 36.0% share, followed by Ain Sukhna with 270 calls and Damietta with 265 calls, together accounting for 56.6% of national port calls.
