Denmark recorded 3,914 port calls in August 2026, an increase of 63.2% from 2,399 calls in July 2026. Ro-Ro / Vehicle calls rose 163.2% to 1,179 calls, the largest of five vessel-type categories that moved more than 50% in the month.

  • Denmark recorded 3,914 port calls in August 2026, up 63.2% from 2,399 calls in July 2026.
  • Five vessel types swung more than 50% month over month, led by Ro-Ro / Vehicle, which rose 163.2% to 1,179 calls, a 30.1% share, followed by Other (incl. offshore), up 53.8% to 800 calls.
  • Skagen led all ports with 488 calls, a 12.5% share, followed by Hirtshals with 318 calls and Aarhus with 300 calls, together accounting for 28.3% of national port calls.
