The Yantai CIMC Raffles Ocean Technology Group, commonly known as CIMC Raffles Group, was inaugurated on May 24th, 2022. This enterprise emerged through a strategic partnership between the CIMC Group, which owns an 83.3% stake, and the Yantai Guofeng Group, holding the remaining 16.7%.

Historic Milestones and AchievementsTracing its roots back to Yantai Shipyard established in 1977, the group has a rich history of pioneering developments in the maritime sector. Notables include crafting the first bottom-sitting drilling platform in 1978 and delivering sophisticated marine apparatus such as the "Blue Whale I" ultra-deep water semi-submersible drilling platform.
