Weihai Sanjin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. stands as a versatile shipyard, focusing on both the construction of new vessels and the renovation of existing ones. The facility sprawls across an impressive area of 824,306 square meters, setting the stage for its comprehensive maritime manufacturing and repair operations.
Facilities and CapabilitiesThe shipyard boasts an array of substantial facilities, including a 100,000-ton dock measuring 320 meters in length, 41.5 meters in width, and 11.9 meters in depth, which is further enhanced by a 450-ton gantry crane. Additionally, it has a 100,000-ton floating dock (220m*37m*18.2m) and two 100,000-ton slipways (384m*10m), each equipped with two 240-ton tower cranes. The outfitting dock extends beyond 1,800 meters, providing ample space for ship assembly and repairs, all of which are accessible due to their open design.
Shipbuilding AchievementsThroughout its operational history, Weihai Sanjin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has successfully delivered 50 vessels, predominantly serving European clients. The portfolio includes 42 bulk carriers of various sizes (33.5K, 36K, 58K tons), alongside two sizeable carriers, three units designed for the oil and chemical industry, and a singular instance each of a Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) and a container vessel. Despite its focus on small to medium-sized ship constructs, the company leverages its specialized skills to ventured into the realm of retrofitting, specifically targeting pollution control systems like desulfurization towers (EGCS) and ballast water treatment systems (BWTS).

With an eye on diversification, it further broadened its service range by stepping into the ship repair and modification sector in July 2018, thereby illustrating its adaptive approach towards evolving maritime needs.
