The NEVA exhibition was founded in 1990 by order of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Defense of the USSR and has been held continuously since 1991.
NEVA is the largest civil shipbuilding exhibition in Eastern Europe and the entire post–Soviet space - it is the first exhibition in Russia, one of the ten largest world exhibitions in this industry.
Neva is a universally recognized international platform for business cooperation and expert dialogue between specialists in the field of production of civil vessels for various purposes, the creation of marine technical means for the development of the ocean and its shelf, including the Arctic zone and the Northern Sea Route, the development of navigation on inland waterways, the modernization of specialized fleet, the renewal of the fleet of port equipment.
The exhibition traditionally takes place once every 2 years in St. Petersburg.
